Saving Generations says farewell to Jarred.  You will forever have a home with Saving Generations.  Carry all the love and life's lesson you have acquired with you to Texas.  You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you to Joan Trent, Tiffani Ephrom, GYSD and members of Saving Generations who made the United Way Shoe Box Initiative a success.  We are still waiting on our final totals from the United Way but I am certain we have well over 55+ boxes.

Thanks to Ms. Remy Taylor of Aramark, Saving Generations will have the opportunity to work in a concession stand during the Atlanta  Brave Home Games.  Of course, participants 18 and over will volunteer their time during the entire game.  A percentage of the proceeds will be donated from Aramark & the Braves to Saving Generations.  So, we all members, mentors, parents and friends who want to help this great cause to roll up your sleeves, wash your hands and get ready to serve some food & beverages.

LISTEN UP ALL MY HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA. I PRAY THAT U ARE PAYING ATTENTION TO ALL THE CHANGES THAT ARE BEING MADE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE 'HOPE SCHOLARSHIP'... IF U ARE DEPENDING ON HOPE THEN HIT THEM BOOKS YOUR GPA REQUIREMENT IS NOW 3.7 SAT SCORE 1200 ACT26 TO GET JUST 90% OF HOPE SO GET YOUR WRITING SKILLS UP & FILL OUT ALL SCHOLARSHIP APPS FOR THOSE WHO FALL UNDER 3.0-3.5. LET'S GO!!!!!

Saving Generations would like to send Gabby a shout out.  She is one of the only Freshman at Osborne High School who has been recognized as an outstanding student in science and is on her way to regionals tomorrow.  Group Hug Gabby and our thoughts and well wishes are with you.  Believe in yourself as we believe in you!  There are always spiritual and emotional kisses kiddo. Just look for them all around you if your moral lessens.  Think about all of your sisters and mentors of the CUTIES and know that everything is A-OK!

As members of United Way 211, Cobb Community Collaborative and Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Saving Generations will partake in the Shoe Box Initiative.  What we are asking is that everyone get all of their old shoe boxes and fill the up with toiletries for those who are homeless.  Please don't let this opportunity slip by.  Saving Generations (especially the Cobb County CUTIES, Inc division) is very near and dear to this program.  We have gone out on service hours and donate time with a local shelter for mother's and their children and the stories we heard were heart wrenching.  So please give us a hand.  Remember, it could have been us.  Many of us are a step or two away from being in a similar situation so please, lend a hand and spread the word to your friends, co-workers, schools, churches, etc.  Our goal is to collect 150 boxes.  *Just like the Community Wide Talent Show we are hosting in April....let this be a community wide collaborative.
